I am over the snow!   No more snow I want it to be Spring time with the pretty flowers & the sun shining & the birds chirping.  But nay, it is snow like there is no tomorrow outside.  It has been snowing since yesterday morning.  Boooo

I say go away Mr. Snow Miser and bring in Mr.Heat Miser!!

Back in the Swing of things...some fun to come!!

Sorry for the lack of entries my Nailistas!!   My camera crapped out & I was awaiting my new PC.  So I got my new camera - Z915 - and my new desktop.   I also got my huge haul from Victoria Nails which of course contains colors everyone & their brother has but colors I LOVED and of course needed!!  So I have lots & lots of swatching that will take place. 


As I was finding a home for all my new beauties I realized that there are colors I have that I no longer want most of which were just used once but there are some used twice so I may be doing a SWAP if there is interest.

Winter 2010

So it seems a blizzard it upon us here on the East Coast!   I have a couple of inches of accumulation already.  Just need to hunker down & stay warm while I work from home.

If you are being hit by this blizzard as well please be safe & stay warm!!  It is not worth going out unless it is extremely necessary!!

Yves Saint Laurent [ YSL ] Orange Flamboyant

So last week I ordered a few YSL La Laque Long-Lasting Nail Lacquer.  First one up is Orange Flamboyant.  The color totally reminds me of a 60's shade of orange.  In the daylight it lives up to it's name...flamboyant!  It is a gorgeous color!  May look red in the pictured but believe me it is orange. 

However, it chips easily!  I put on three coats but it is still not fully opaque. You can see the nail line and it is a little streaky.  Next time I would use a base color like white or nude to make it more opaque.  I love this color so much I will deal with the chip maintenance. long-lasting this polish is not.  :(
