OPI for Sephora: 212- Sephora

[ Please excuse messy cuticles ]

When I first bought this I was so not crazy over it but I tried it again and I am glad I did!  The color is actually a "soft" color on me and more brown then smoky black as described on the Sephora site.  The glitter in this polish really accents the color more then contrasts it.  This is an awesome color for the Fall and actually a color that has made me decide to go into the darker vampy colors!  The polish applied really nicely and did not take long to dry at all.

I am using Nailtek II Intensive Therapy as the base.  I needed 3 coats of the 212 to build up the color.  I topped it all off with a coat of Seche.

Next up will most likely be Milani Garnet Gems!

NOTD...CHI Nail Laquer...Check Out the Venus Goddess

This is the first time I have ever tried this polish & am not sure exactly how I feel about it.  It dried nicely & relatively quickly but I had to put on three coats for even color.  I would think with this color & it NOT being a matte that it should have covered in 2 coats.  Anyway, what you see in the pics is much more purple then it is in real life. It is more of a black cherry with purple overtones then a bold vibrant purple.  I do like the color but I am not sure of this formula.  The pictures were taken with  my Blackberry as my camera is not as good as it used to be.

I have the Orly Rubberized base coat, 3 coats of CHI and 2 coats of Seche.

Has anyone else ever tried CHI lacquer?  If so, what are your thoughts?

China Glaze French Manicure - Sexagon & Rainbow

So I got inspired this weekend & did a french manicure using Orly Bonder as the base coat with China Glaze Sexagon on the tips with a coat of China Glaze overr that. Finished the whole thing with 2 coats of Seche. The Sexagon comes through more as a gray then anything else but I was still happy with the result.

What do you think??
